Description |
BIOL 707/807. Ecosystem Ecology. Lecture 3 hours; laboratory 4 hours; 5 credits. Ecological principles at the ecosystem level of biological organization. Discussion of energy flow, nutrient cycling, ecosystem stability, modeling. Laboratory involves field trip, methods of measuring ecosystem variables and model construction.
