We understand that your needs are different than those of your students.  As a result, we have designed this series of pages with you in mind.  Feel free to examine the other pages, too.  Hopefully this site will begin to make some of the information you need more accessible to you.  If there is something you'd like to see here that's now missing, please ask!  Send me an e-mail message and we'll see if we can help.

DECA News - All of the currently e-mailed DECA updates, as well as up-to-the-minute DECA news will be posted.  Didn't get the last e-mail for some reason, or you just want to find out the latest on something?  Take a look at DECA News. Then make sure we have your e-mail address!

Membership - Virginia DECA will again be utilizing DECA, Inc.'s online system. This is a big departure from past years (except for last year, of course!), so read the material thoroughly! For DA's, you can still receive an "up to the minute" report for your district.  If you need a custom report, let us know.  We'll give it our best shot.

Forms - Need a form?  A section from your Chapter Management Guide?  Get it here.  Your entire CMG is online and ready to be typed directly into!  If you know of a form you need and don't see it here, let me know.  We'll get it up there for you.

Lessons and Activities - This section can and should become a veritable gold mine for all of you.  There are currently more than 400 Marketing teachers in Virginia.  Just think how many lessons we could post for your viewing if each teacher submitted their best two lessons - only two!  You do the math.  Make this your main source for lessons and activities, but don't be just a taker--be sure and contribute, too!  It will only be as useful as the lessons you post.  Currently we have more than 320 lessons posted and counting.

Competitive Events Guidelines - Yes, some of you are "Seasoned Pros" and contributed to this.  Thanks for your help!  For those of you that can use more information, take a look.  I think you'll find it helpful.  And I would love to hear what YOU do that works.  I know you won't give us all of your secrets, but we do appreciate a few pointers.

Calendar - This is a comprehensive list of dates that you need and want to know.  If we've overlooked any, please let us know and we'll get it up right away!

Mentors - Listed are those advisors that have agreed to either be a mentor or an expert in a particular area of DECA. If you are a new advisor, or an experienced advisor that wants to dive into something new, don't hesitate to use this page! For a one-on-one mentorship, please be sure and contact Virginia DECA directly.

State Charity - Virginia DECA supports the American Cancer Society, and continues to support the Virginia DECA Foundation--an organization that provides YOUR STUDENTS with scholarship money! Would you like to do something good for someone in need? Look here to learn more...

History of DECA - This one's kind of obvious.  It includes both Marketing Education and Virginia DECA.  You might find it to be a nice change of pace from discussion and worksheets.  Maybe we can even eventually post an interactive quiz online?  Use it however you see fit.
