Task:
Scavenger Hunt Worksheet
I give the students their scavenger hunt packet on the bus. I have them
select their our working partner, only 2 to a team. My students are
also divided by chaperone groups, so within your group find a partner.
Review the scavenger hunt requirements on the way to the fair. Instruct
them to include both partner names on 1 hunt sheet. They can begin answering
some of the questions even before arriving at the park.
The students must complete the scavenger hunt worksheet by the end of
the day. I align 25 pts to the assignment, which is 5 days of participation
to motivate them to complete the sheet. For non-attending students I
create on an individual basis possible alternate projects based on the
reason why they chose not to attend. Some students I have evaluate the
State Fair Web site and look for examples of the marketing foundations
and functions on the site itself.
