THANKSGIVING AND DECA

Just for fun. A good idea for a DECA Thanksgiving Bulletin board. See picture.

Idea:
If you would like to add a little Thanksgiving Holiday feel to your classroom bulletin boards why not 'dress for success' the turkey that is. For a Thanksgiving themed bulletin board consider creating a 'Professional DECA' dressed Turkey.

What you will need:

• Gather about 9 dark colored old ties from the Goodwill or grandpas closet
• Brown construction paper
• brown or black felt
• scissors
• staples
• Red felt/gobbler and yellow for beak
• Brown feathers
• 1 pair of silly craft eyes
• Leaf border
• Green Bulletin board paper (fit size of your board)

Assemble:

• Make the ties the feathers for your 'DECA Turkey.
• Cut construction paper for the body
• Felt for the feet and gobbler and beak
