ICEBREAKER--DESIGN
A CD COVER
When people go to a music
store, they spend time walking around looking at all of the selections
and often will leave the store having bought a CD or two. The type of
music a person buys and listens to can often times tell you quite a
bit about the person. If each person made his/her own recordings and
designed the cover for the CD, others would probably learn much new
information about the individual whose recording it is. Your objective
today is to create a CD cover that illustrates you and your goals.
Directions: You will receive
two pieces of white poster board on which you will create a CD cover.
On the cover you need to have a title for the CD (Your Name) and any
words or pictures that represent you. On the backside of the CD (second
piece of poster board) you will create a song list featuring 10 songs.
The first 4 song titles should say something about you. The fifth song
should be a duet of your favorite song and singer/group. The sixth and
seventh song should tell us about your goals for the school year. The
last three songs should tell your goals for the future.
This assignment will be counted
as your first class grade and should be completed at the end of the
period. See example below:

class. Your objective is to view 3 student projects and learn more about
