PERSONALIZED PLATES--INTRO PROJECT

When traveling, it is always fun to look at the different license plates from different states. Each one is unique and different so that it can stand out from the others and represents its home state. Just as license plates are different so are people. Create your own license plate to illustrate yourself. At the end of this activity you will share your plate.

Directions: You will receive a piece of white poster board on which you will create a license plate. First, you will outline your plate using any color you choose. Next, you must pick a city and state for your plate. Third, you will insert the text on your plate. You may not use more than seven characters (numbers or letters) on your plate. The text must be something other than your name or nickname (see examples). Next, you must insert at least one picture or graphic at any place on the tag. Finally, insert numbers in each of the top corners of your plate. After creating your tag, write your name in small letters in the bottom right hand corner.

This assignment will be counted as your first class grade and should be completed at the end of the period.
