Media Research – Group Project 2 block classes

Create teams of 2 students to complete the economics project.

The students will find 3 library or Internet sources of Virginia’s natural resources. (Use the card catalog or a search engine)
Your sources must be cited on a separate sheet of paper. (Bibliography)
Use a search engine to learn how to properly cite your sources of information.

Create a report (word processed) listing at least 5 natural resources found in the state of Virginia and where they are located.

Locate a map of Virginia and reproduce the map. You can be creative, hand draw your map, use a map found on the Internet or use a map of Virginia from your home. Place your 5 natural resources on your map. Use your imagination and create symbols for your natural resources. Provide a legend on your map to indicate the 5 natural resources.

Choose three businesses from the general list below and for each business prepare a list of capital resources and natural resources used in the production of the goods involved.
