YOUR GRANDMA WEARS WHAT?

Supplies:

Posterboard
Any Art Supplies
Anything to aid your demonstration!!!

CREATIVITY!

Your Task:

You must take a product that is traditionally marketed to one generation and successfully market it to a different generation. You CANNOT alter the product, however you can alter the advertising, packing, or the general use of the product. You will present your changes in two ways:

1. You must first create a poster. On one side of the poster you will show pictures of the current target market using your product. You must have at least 3 pictures. A title of your poster that includes your product name and the generation. On the opposite side of the poster you will create three pictures of the new generation using the product. Again, you will have a title to your poster including the product name and the new generation.

2. You and your partner will be asked to do a short infomercial in front of the class for the new product. (You must have a script to turn in) It must be at least 2 minutes in length, describing the new use of the product, and how it will appeal to the new generation. It is OK to be entertaining, this is how you gain customers, they will remember your product!

Have fun with this project. Think creatively and outside of the box! You will do a great job. Posters are due and presentations will begin on ________.
