ACTING RESPONSIBLY--BE REAL

Preparation: No advance preparation is needed for this activity.

Process: Ask each student to choose one of the following directives to apply to his/her own life: follow the rules, tell the truth, admit your mistakes, finish assignments with care and on time, or always act appropriately. Have the student write a one-page paper explaining specific ways s/he can apply this directive to his/her life—at home, at school, and at work. When the student completes the paper, have her/him submit it to you for review.
