ENTREPRENEUR ASSIGNMENT

There have been many entrepreneurs that have changed the way we live. From Howard Hughes to Oprah, from Mary Kay Ash to Bill Gates, and from Benjamin Franklin to John D. Rockefeller. These people have made our lives easier with their inventions they have created that will leave a mark in the world forever.

What is your task you ask????

1. Choose an entrepreneur of your choice. Anyone you want, so find one that you really want to learn about.
2. Find out a little about the background of your person. Most of the time their childhood is very interesting. But do not go overboard, if you type more than a page on their background that is too much. There are other important things we need to know.
3. If you can, try to research why your person ventured out on their own to create something. Was it because they had a dream one night? Did they simply want to better the world? Did they just want to make money? Stuff like that, the good stuff!
4. Then, what did they create? Was it just one thing or were they into all kinds of things.
5. Include some information about how much money they made. If you chose a popular entrepreneur, most started out small and gradually made a lot of money, and I mean a lot of money.
6. Not all entrepreneurs are the same. For example, John Rockefeller was not only one of the most famous entrepreneurs, he was a great philanthropist. In his lifetime, he gave close to a billion dollars to universities, charities ect. That was unheard of during his time. Be sure to include some interesting things like thatJ

Minor details: Paper must be typed, double spaced, 12 pt font size, no cover page needed but will not be graded down if one is used. I am thinking at the very minimum of 2 pages, but it better be good if it is that lengthJ I really think if you choose a popular person, you should be thinking in terms of 3 to 5 pages. If you are the type of student that loves to do a paper like this, and that would be great if you were, try to keep it no longer than 6 pages, please!
