Introducing E-Jobs - I always start this unit with a discovery lesson that begins at Careermag.com.  The reason?  Free access to resumes 120 days old or older.  Before I did anything with this unit, I would take the class there and tell them to examine the resumes.  As they did, I asked them to print out one very good resume, and one very bad resume.  On the back of the printed copy, they should write a paragraph or two on why they selected the ones that they did.  I didn't evaluate their responses--only filed them away.  Near the conclusion of the unit, I would pull them out and give them back to the student.  Beneath their original resume evaluation, I would ask them to REevaluate it, based on their new knowledge.  You'll get some pretty interesting results!
