Million Dollar Question
Adapt the TV Show. It's easy to
do and works well. The game show format uses the equivalent of
a four-alternative multiple choice question. We play the game
much like it's done of TV. Students in the class are one of the
lifelines. In place of cash, I award prizes from the school store.
Just like the TV version, they can opt to keep the prizes an sit down,
or keep working to win the pizza. Since only one student is in
the hot seat at a time, it's important to keep things moving quickly
and to keep the others involved as much as possible. (How
about a "random" lifeline where the student draws the name of somene
in the class who can thn help-or not?)
