Each year Virginia
DECA chapters from around the state attend the Virginia
State Fair for DECA Day or Marketing Education Day. On
site your students will have the opportunity to meet the state
officers, learn about marketing, and have a little fun! (After
all, where else can you go to get a fried Oreo or a fried
pickle? Mmmm mmm.) Join us there for fun and learning. Virginia
DECA might even have a surprise for you when you get there,
but you'll need to stop by the Virginia DECA booth to find
out.

For advisors, you'll
likely need justification, so we've tried to make that easy
for you. Below is a set of goals, objectives, and other information
that you can include with your field trip justification form
for your administrators. And don't forget to download and
copy the Virginia DECA State Fair Scavenger Hunt for your
students. It'll be worth their while!
