Join the team! The ODU HPV team is always on the look out for new members. We especially need students with a strong interest in engineering, bicycles, and eco-friendly machines. The benefits from participating in the project are invaluable. The team work and hands-on experience can prepare you for a post-graduate job better than any classroom lecture can. Students from all class standings (freshman through graduate) and all disciplines are welcome to join. However, the research, design, and racing of the vehicle will be limited to engineering students. If you are not an engineering student your skillls can be used in other aspects of the project such as business, marketing, and construction. If you would like to work on this year's project, contact the facutly advisor, Dr. Drew Landman, by email or at (757) 766-2266 EXT 106. Sponsorship If you are interested in helping the team but are not a student we can still use your assistance. We are always in need of people and companies that can share their resources with us. For compensation we will add the donator's logo to the vehicle and will try our best to give the donator publicity. But the advantages to the donor lie beyond the publicity gained. You are also helping emerging engineers learn about the need for environmental friendly and clean alternatives to some of todays machines.
