There will be 2 problems per month, one for each of two categories. One is for undergraduate students only and the other is for graduate students (undergraduate students can also compete in this open category). In each category and each month, the first person submitting a correct solution will receive $20. All persons submitting a correct solution will be listed on this page. Also, there will be prizes awarded for first and second place for the year. This will be determined, in each category, by who submits most correct solutions during the year. If there is a tie, the tiebreaker will be determined by who has the most monthly wins. The first and second place prizes will be gift certificates worth $50 and $30. respectively. A minimum of three submissions of correct solutions is required to qualify for the end of the year awards.

Problems for the month are posted at Undergraduate Problem   Graduate Problem   Each solution should be put in a sealed envelope, indicating name and the date of submission and hand it to Barbara or Gayles (ECS 2300) for verification.
