• Old Dominion University - Counseling Services  offers a number of programs and services, including dealing with time management, test anxiety, and the like.

• Joe Landsberger at St. Thomas University put together this Guide to classroom success , which covers everything from note taking to studying to classroom participation.  An excellent resource!

Here are a couple of good "entry points" to the huge number of web sites devoted to ecology and biodiversity.

•  University of Florida Book of Insect Records has all kinds of amazing information -- the fastest, the most cold-tolerant, the most fecund, the most . . . well, you get the idea.  And it's all related to ecology!
•  The Santa Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group began as a peregrine reintroduction program; it's expanded now into a group dedicated to raptor conservation. 
•  Great Lakes Ecopages describes the ecology and environmental issues of the Great Lakes, along with resources explaining numerous programs designed to fix some of the major problems facing this ecoregion.
• Early Classics in Biogeography, Distribution, and Diversity Studies: To 1950 is a fantastic annotated bibliography of some classic resources with links to biographical information about authors and on-line text where available.  These are classic papers; the site is well worth browsing!
