Project
Biology 108N Online will allow students to take advantage of the World Wide Web to complete the lecture component of Life Science I. This electronic course project places detailed programmed instruction, such as behavioral objectives, course readings and activities, and sample tests with diagnostic messages in an electronic format accessible for use at student's convenience. The project was started in September 1996, as a collaborative effort between Dr. Kneeland Nesius and the Center for Learning Technologies. One miniunit, Epsilon, was completed that fall and tested by a portion of the class. A second miniunit, Zeta, was added June 1997. The projected completetion date for all six miniunits is June, 1998.
