Laboratory Policies
ATTENDANCE: You must attend your laboratory section to perform and understand the activities. If you miss a laboratory you lose the 15 points possible for that exercise. More than three laboratory absences will result in an "F" in the course. HOMEWORK: You will receive homework during each laboratory. These must be turned in the following laboratory period or they they will be graded as late. The point value for each for each homework done correctly is 15. You must read the laboratory exercises the night before coming to the laboratory. Some of the homework questions will pertain to the laboratory excercise for that week. HELP: If you need help on the homework you may go to any of the Biology 108N teaching assistants for help. Their office hours will be posted on the laboratory door 117 in the Life Sciences Building. BIOLOGICAL ARTICLES: Biological articles involving critical thinking and concepts in biology will be administered through the laboratory (read page 3 in laboratory manual). These articles are required and additional articles may be used for bonus points. The teaching assistants will explain these assignments during the second laboratory. Make sure to:
