Communication Tools, Instructions, and Protocols

Electronic Mail (e-mail)
It is the instructor's preference that students use their Old Dominion University Student email for electronic communication. Subject lines must always begin with ECE304 and student's full name should be included as a signature or part of the message.

Restricted Access Materials
Some materials on this course website will be restricted to only those students registered for this course. The student email user name (before the @) and password will be used to login to view those materials. For example: jdoe001@odu.edu would type jdoe001 for the username and then type his/her email password as the password.

Help for Technical Problems

For help with any technical problem or access problem ranging from not being able to view a web page due to server outage to not being able to log in to a restricted application such as FSCS or email, contact the Customer Service help desk at 757-683-3192 or occshelp@odu.edu. Be prepared to include the steps attempted to connect and the content of any error message received. Identify yourself with your full name, your ODU email username, and the course name.
