The following PDF files contain the scanned documentation of the value (in constant 1990 dollars) of U.S. military transfers from 1950 to 1990, provided to Robert H. Holden by the U. S. Department of Defense as the result of a Freedom of Information Act request in 1991. The data have been analyzed and presented in Holden's Armies Without Nations: Public Violence and State Formation in Central America, 1821-1960 (New York: Oxford University Press, 2004), and in previously-written articles and papers.
