Mailing list information

Mailman is software to help manage mail discussion lists (Mailing Lists). Unlike most similar products, Mailman gives each mailing list an individual web page and allows users to subscribe, unsubscribe, etc. over the web. List managers can administer their list entirely from the web.

EMail

This section describes the basics on to use email under the LIONS environment and mentions the methods by which one can read their email. However, mail delivery under LIONS is not without it's quirks. We describe what those are, why that is, and what you can do.

Web FTP Tutorial

This is a very brief tutorial on how to upload your files from a Windows XP platform over to the LIONS public_html directory for display on the web. Note that this is very command line driven and does not discuss GUI FTP clients.
