Course description
This is a 3 credit graduate course (Master/PhD level) that provides students in
Electrical and Computer Engineering with an abstract perspective on linear algebra
concepts and their application to solving engineering problems.
Topics covered include: Gaussian elimination, vector spaces and orthogonality;
eigenvalues and eigenvectors; positive definite matrices; singular value decomposition;
minimum principles; and computations with matrices.
