"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence and determination. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; un-rewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: The world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent."    Calvin Coolidge

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe in order to assure the survival and success of LIBERTY, this much we pledge and more."  JFK, 1961

Change does not necessarily assure progress, but progress implacably requires change. Education is essential to change, for education creates both new wants and the ability to satisfy them."  -Henry Steele Commager
