Chapter 4 Errata | |
Pg 159 Eqn 4-1a | Should be (jf) vice (jw) |
Pg161 Eqn's 4-7 & 4-9 | Should be (jf) vice (jw) |
Pg 173 Eqn's 4-33 & 4-34 | Should be (jf) vice (jw) |
Pg 174 Eqn 4-35 | Should be (jf) vice (jw) |
Pg 175 Eqn's 4-38 & 39 | The t sub 1 's should be t sub i 's |
Pg 180 - -2nd para under heading "Noise Data". |
Currently reads "...noise voltage and input noise curves...", should read "input noise current" |
Pg. 181--Figure 4-8 |
The waveform is impossible. At one point in the middle, the waveform goes backwards in time. |
Pg. 202 -- Figure P4-30 |
Label the amp "741" as in Fig P4-29 on pg 202. |
Pg. 649 solutions for 4-5 and 4-7 | Some printings show the prefixes on these two problems as being milli instead of the correct prefix of micro. |
Clarification on the following figures |
|
Pg 182 Fig 4-10 |
Pg 202 Fig 4-29 & 4-30 |
The 1k ohm Rc resistors are not mistakes. They are there to provide a less than optimized noise level due to the input bias current so that the "Broadband noise for Various BW's", graph #6, pg 579, may be used. Of course, the author could have used 100 ohms for the same graph but chose to have a less than optimized noise level. |
