The Department of STEM Education and Professional Studies at Old Dominion University is PROUD to highlight its PhD Class.  Each candidate has earned admittance to the department and its PhD concentration.  Students are studying different emphases in Occupational and Technical Studies including Technology Education, Career and Technical Education and Human Resources-Training.  Our student interests are well balanced between programs.  Each PhD candidate brings stellar academic credentials, interests in occupational and technical studies, and has stood up through a rigorous interviewing process.  Many attended an Orientation during the summer and all will be on campus with us during our Summer Institutes.

We are proud of the interests and abilities of PhD students.  As faculty we see each student as future educators and leaders in Technology Education, Career and Technical Education, and Human Resources-Training.  If you would like to become part of our program, please contact me at 757-683-4305 or jritz@odu.edu.  Old Dominion University's PhD in Education with a concentration in Occupational and Technical Studies is a flexible program, so students can study full-or part-time, taking classes on campus or through televised distance or videostreamed instruction.  Old Dominion University is Changing Lives  and will produce future leaders for our professions.
