Answer the following questions:

1.  Explain why Web design is marketing and not some techie language.

2.  Argue for or against this statement: "Researchers and usability experts have developed a set of rules and guidelines that help us to understand what works and what doesn't work in Web design.  Therefore, they should be followed when constructing a new site."

3.  Describe the four Web design tips that you feel have the most impact on Internet marketing and support your selections.  Include at least one from Dr. T's list, and one from Mark Pearrow's list.

4.  Explain the phrase "Ease of Navigation" and why it is important in Internet Marketing.

Read chapter 1, chapter 2, and pages 110 - 118 from Web Pages That Suck.  Then answer the following questions.

5.  Why is it important to identify your target audience before designing and building your Web site?

6.  When should you create a Web site storyboard, and what is its purpose?

7.  What is the significance of your site's home page?

8.  Explain the 3-click rule.  Do you feel that this is marketing?  Why or why not?
